They, the Maori, are proof that the tattoo is indicative of a high social and cultural development, especially assuming them as the best record, or as a starting point in modern tattoo.
The Art of Tattooing and body banding or "Belly" has taken on unexpected nuances in the world. The first tattoo machine was patented by Samuel O'Reilly in 1891. Popular machine is so far known, which has evolved potentially but not in its traditional form and structure. Other cultures such as Japan, still use needles sticks together represent a pattern or drawing. In the Far East, using a kind comb literally hammering the other hand to leave a previously designed pattern as is the case of American Indians.
particular, without trying to make history, in times less remote, I remember the tone underground shops that proliferated in London during the 80's. Small divisions in Camden town market where this office was exercised respecting a widespread tradition in the UK, that sound, those machines, and the intrinsic pleasure they produced, is the same, with minor variations, which stimulates still remain Today's enjoyment at this art. There were times where disposable items, read: needles, Yelco, gloves and others were utopian in those places, not heard of HIV and for the year 86, the only celebrities who had died were: Klaus Nomi and Gia's model of a "strange and painful illness."
These little spaces to which I refer, enjoyed international fame, people traveled from Spain and Portugal to tattoo, to name a few regulars. Night fell and was expected to close down premises to open others to the abyss of night. First: The only thing that should be exclusive tattooing and piercing are the designs, copyright. Second: We must respect the artwork you do, valuing and pricing of an art fair that is not bought or sold, but that it should give us a living. You can not market a pittance a drawing that has to be in the body while life lasts, that is, build a "fly shit" a "stain" on the skin a "better than nothing" not to lose the day. Third: Do not store the smallest value for value when it touches put a price on your art. A mess worth as much or more a lonely job that went well, some prices would be interesting balance. Fourth: One thing is to reserve the right to apply for admission and other brutal and obvious discrimination. Fifth: Win scapular indulgences of others. Sixth, think and take everything for granted, people who go need accurate and concise, explain to the client things inherent to this profession so as to bring down the hundreds of myths and legends that this art entails. Knock down false beliefs about pain, infection, etc, that only sailors, criminals and prostitutes are regulars to him, without diminishing any of the foregoing, it is an art for everyone. We must take time to interact with people, not a butcher, not a temple to go save the words. Seventh: The ornamental piercing anywhere on the body, is pleased customer, and gives security and experience, also offers aesthetic, do not lie and tremble like a leaf. Finally, you have to watch the parade and be humble, who speaks very little done, and we therefore, to respect a little bit, because we all fit.
